Hojoko is a rock n roll izakaya honoring the pulse of japanese nightlife by serving sushi, robata grilled yakitori and street food small plates paired with craft cocktails, premium sake, wine and beer.
As soon as it is safe to do so, we will bring back the live bands, spinning dj’s and karaoke that have accompanied our food and beverage since opening in 2015!
RESERVATIONS & WALK INS WELCOME
Effective Sunday, December 13th:
Per the new COVID-19 guidelines from the State of Massachusetts, we are Implementing the following measures at Hojoko. Masks are required to be worn at all times unless you are actively eating or drinking. Dining experiences will have a maximum duration of 1.5 hours. On behalf of our entire staff, we thank you in advance for your cooperation and for your continued support of local, independent restaurants.
We are incredibly happy to be reopening Hojoko. The outpouring of support we've received was overwhelming. Thank you so much for checking in on us. To say that the last few months have been challenging would be a huge understatement; but your emails, calls, texts, and Instagram DMs helped us weather that storm.
Now that we are in a position to open our doors, we do so with the safety of our staff and guests as our first priority. Below, you can find the safety procedures that we've implemented to keep you feeling safe and comfortable when you dine with us.
We are all in this together. Restaurant folks are a tough breed with kind hearts. We are used to having to work with a number of obstacles on a daily basis to do what we do. But we can't do this alone.
Restaurants everywhere need your help and cooperation to make sure that these safety procedures are actually effective. Please, whether you dine with us or at any other restaurant, wear your mask and follow the restaurant's safety guidelines so that we can continue to operate and provide you with warm hospitality for years to come.

Guests are required to wear face coverings while at the restaurant unless they are actively eating or drinking.
All staff and guests will have their temperatures checked upon entering the restaurant with the use of no-contact thermometers at the host stands.
Physical distancing measures have been put in place and are enforced for both staff and guests. Signage is posted in all restaurants to help remind guests and staff of social distancing protocols
Our seating is at a minimum of 6ft apart. And we don't mean that the tables are six feet apart. We measure the distance from guest to guest, seated in chairs and not from the table's edge.
We are using digital menus with QR codes at each table to limit contact though paper menus can be provided upon request.
Our staff has received ongoing training on physical distancing and hygiene protocols
All high-touch, hard surfaces are sanitized every 30 minutes in addition to ongoing sanitizing and handwashing by the staff
All staff are instructed to sanitize hands after every interaction with a guest or supplier.
Hand sanitation stations and hand sinks have been set up throughout all restaurants for ease of handwashing for both staff and guests
CDC safety guidelines and Control Plans are prominently posted at all locations
